Interior decorator and Christmas fanatic, Leslie Major, has the yearly task of decorating the lobby of the famed Chesterton Hotel. But one fateful day whilst working on a ladder to reach the top of the tree, she falls into the arms of Edmund James, the grandson of the hotel's owner. However, Edmund is all business and plans to put an end to the annual tradition. Can Leslie work her magic and teach him to love Christmas?
