A spirited, supernatural sci-fi from the creator of 'Blood Diamond', in which two-time Academy Award-winner Kevin Spacey portrays a mysterious newcomer to New York, claiming to be from the distant planet K-Pax. When police hand the man over to psychiatrist Dr. Powell (Oscar-winner Jeff Bridges), Powell struggles to figure out exactly how to help the man, whilst realising that the so-called alien is having a remarkable effect on the mental health of the hospital's other patients.
